What are the differences in the BMS User Permissions

BMS User Permissions per Role can be explained with the following:



 

CRM Roles



CRM Administrator
CRM Administrators can view, edit and create anything in the CRM application.
CRM Manager
CRM Managers can view, edit and create Accounts in their assigned sales area/s.
They can create, view and edit Activities, Tasks, Opportunities and Campaigns either assigned to them or to their sales area (via the Account.
They can archive Accounts, edit the Sales Area and Geo Area, for Accounts in their sales area/s.
 They also can't bulk attach/detach tags, bulk delete tasks, or add new public filters.
CRM Representative
CRM Representatives can view, edit and create Accounts in their assigned sales area/s.
They can create, view and edit Activities, Tasks, Opportunities and Campaigns either assigned to them or to their sales area (via the Account).
They cannot archive Accounts, edit the Sales Area and Geo Area.
 They also can't bulk attach/detach tags, bulk delete tasks, or add new public filters.
CRM Operations
CRM Operations can view, edit and create Accounts, regardless of sales area.
They can create, view and edit Activities, Tasks, Opportunities and Campaigns assigned to them.
They cannot archive Accounts, edit the Sales Area and Geo Area, or create new public tags.
 They also can't bulk attach/detach tags, bulk delete tasks, or add new public filters.
CRM Guest Manager
CRM Guest Managers can view everything in the CRM application. They cannot create or edit anything.
CRM Guest
CRM Guests can view everything in the CRM application, with the exception of other users Activities, Tasks and Opportunities in the root indexes.
 They cannot create or edit anything.



 

Billing Roles
Billing Administrator
Billing Administrators can view, edit and create anything in the Billing application.
Billing Agent
Billing Agents can view, edit and create anything in the Billing application.
 Their only restrictions are that they can't approve invoices, activate contracts, archive customers, or add new public filters.
Sales Representative
Sales Reps can view anything within their Sales Area in the Billing application.
 They cannot create or edit anything.
Billing Guest
Billing Guests can view everything in the Billing application.
They cannot create or edit anything.




 

Service Roles
Service Administrator
Service Administrators can view, edit and create anything in the Service application.
Service Manager
Service Managers can view, edit and create anything in the Service application.
 Their only restrictions are that they can't archive customers, or add new public filters.
Service Engineer
Service Engineers can view and comment on Customers and Assets.
They can also view and edit their own Job Activities as well as add comments to those activities.
They cannot edit job activities once the status has passed Cleared.
 They also cannot edit Customers, Assets, Jobs, Invoices or Agents.
Sales Representative
Sales Reps can view anything within their Sales Area in the Service application.
 They cannot create or edit anything.
Service Guest Agent
Service Guest Agents cannot view the top level indexes or menu items, with the exception of jobs.
Within jobs, they can only view job activities assigned to them.
 They cannot create or edit anything.
Service Guest
Service Guests can view everything in the Service application.
 They cannot create or edit anything.



 

Stock Roles
Stock Administrator
Stock Administrators can view, edit and create anything in the Stock application.
Stock Controller
Stock Controllers can view, edit and create anything in the Stock application.
Their only restrictions are that they can't create or edit warehouses, or add new public filters.
 They also can't archive customers, carriers, or suppliers.
Order Administrator
Order Administrators can view, edit and create nearly anything in the Stock application.
However, they can't create or edit products, product relationships, warehouses, or public filters.
 They also can't archive customers, carriers, or suppliers.
Warehouse Operations
Warehouse Operations can view anything in the Stock application.
Their main restrictions are that they can't create or edit sales orders, purchase orders, products, product relationships, warehouses or public filters.
 They also can't archive customers, carriers, or suppliers.
Sales Representative
Sales Reps can view anything within their Sales Area in the Stock application.
 They cannot create or edit anything.
Stock Guest
Stock Guests can view everything in the Stock application.
 They cannot create or edit anything.



 

Sales Roles
Sales Administrator
Sales Administrators can view, edit and create anything in the Sales application.
Sales Manager
Sales Managers can view, edit and create anything in the Sales application.
 Their only restrictions are that they can't archive customers, or add new public filters.
Sales Representative
Sales Representatives can view, edit and create their own Activities, Tasks and Opportunities.
Create Tasks for any user.
View other users Activities, Tasks and Opportunities only within the context of a Account, Opportunity or Campaign.
They cannot archive Accounts, edit the Sales Area and Geo Area, or create new public tags.
 They also can't bulk add/remove tags or bulk delete tasks.
Sales Operations
Sales Operations can view, edit and create their own Activities, Tasks and Opportunities.
Create Tasks and Opportunities for any user.
View other users Activities, Tasks and Opportunities only within the context of a Account, Opportunity or Campaign.
They cannot archive Accounts or create new public tags.
 They also can't bulk delete tasks.
Sales Guest Manager
Sales Guest Managers can view everything in the Sales application.
 They cannot create or edit anything.
Sales Guest
Sales Guests can view everything in the Sales application, with the exception of other users Activities, Tasks and Opportunities in the main indexes.
 They cannot create or edit anything.



 

Debtors Roles
Debtors Administrator
Debtors Administrators can view, edit and create anything in the Debtors application, they can also void invoices.
Debtors Operations
Debtors Administrators can view, edit and create anything in the Debtors application.



 

Agent Roles
Agent Accounting AdministratorAgent Accounting Administrators can view, edit and create anything in the Agents application.



 

Mobile Roles
Service Agent UserCan use the Mobile Service Agent module.
