CMS Validity Check Error when installing PaperCut on a Konica Minolta Device

Problem: CMS Validity Check Error when installing PaperCut on a Konica Minolta Device. PaperCut Printer install log displays:



Successfully connected to 192.168.8.112:50003

Using service address: https://konica-minolta.eu.printerapp.papercut.com

PaperCut Hive Connector Version 3.0.2

Executing 12 steps:

Step 1: Validate command

Step 2: Check printer is ready

Step 3: Check the printer is supported

Step 4: Get printer information

Step 5: Checking for conflicting apps

Step 6: Create or update session for device in the cloud

Step 7: Remove existing user box data

Step 8: Remove any found conflicting apps

Step 9: Install Auth Browser app

ERROR: CMS Validity Check Error {"src":"main.go:128"}



Possible causes: Marketing Area on Konica Minolta Device is not set to a compatible area for the PaperCut app support.


Solution: Within Service Mode on the MFP, change the Marketing Area to 'Europe'.
